Products used: Wildleaf Reindeer Moss Panels
Construction Firm: ACOA Construction
ACOA Construction, a firm specializing in dental and medical office construction, partnered with Wildleaf to enhance Libertyville Pediatric Dentistry in Wheeling, Illinois. Their goal was twofold:
Ensure the clinic met acoustic and hygiene requirements essential for dental spaces.
Create a stress-free, inviting environment for young patients.
A Thoughtful Approach to Biophilic Design
To balance hygiene, acoustics, and aesthetics, the 150-square-foot project incorporated Wildleaf Reindeer Moss Panels—a natural, maintenance-free solution that enhances both functionality and beauty.
Key Design Considerations:
Acoustic control for treatment rooms to ensure patient privacy and a calm environment.
Creative, stress-relieving elements that make the space feel less clinical.
A statement logo wall in the reception area that reinforces the clinic’s identity.
How Reindeer Moss Panels Were Applied
Wildleaf’s Reindeer Moss Panels were thoughtfully incorporated to merge functionality with aesthetics. A variety of green tones were arranged in bold geometric shapes, adding a natural and calming element to the space while addressing the unique needs of each area.
Reception Area – A Striking First Impression
The reception’s logo wall became a standout feature, combining vibrant Reindeer Moss with modern wall materials. The contrast highlights the clinic’s logo, creating a professional yet welcoming aesthetic that leaves a lasting impression on visitors.
Treatment Rooms – Quiet Comfort
In the treatment rooms, Reindeer Moss Panels were strategically installed to enhance sound absorption, reducing noise and fostering a serene environment. Their non-toxic, maintenance-free properties ensure compliance with hygiene standards, making them ideal for healthcare spaces.
Design Highlights – Functional Elegance
Large geometric installations of moss panels not only add modern visual appeal but also ease patient anxiety with their natural textures and calming effect. These panels offer both acoustic functionality and aesthetic value, elevating the clinic’s interior design.
Why Reindeer Moss Panels Were the Perfect Choice
Superior Acoustic Performance
Wildleaf Reindeer Moss Panels achieve an NRC rating of 0.95, meaning they effectively absorb sound, minimizing distractions and enhancing privacy in treatment areas.
